I-405 Improvement Project from SR-73 to I-605

Evari provided construction design support during the RFP response process for the I-405 Improvement Project from SR-73 to I-605. The project intended to improve 16 miles of I-405 between the SR-73 freeway in Costa Mesa and I-605 near the Los Angeles County line. The project included adding one regular lane in each direction from Euclid Street to I-605 and making improvements to freeway entrances, exits and bridges. It also included the addition of two 405 Express Lanes, in each direction from SR-73 to I-605. Evari developed a GIS application which allowed the I-405 Improvement Team to analyze various scenarios and investigate what effects these changes would have on particular areas, whether it was parcel acquisitions, sewer lines, water lines, electric lines, gas lines, environmental impact areas, etc.

Hollywood, FL

Evari provided a comprehensive implementation of GIS technologies to support a municipal street and roadway lighting inventory project and subsequent conversion project. Evari staff deployed a streetlight inventory for the lighting installation effort run by Noresco. The project involved more than 10,000 streetlights. Of those, over 2,400 were identified within priority zones for streetlight conversion.

Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission (DVRPC)

Evari was subcontracted to provide GIS data collection and project management support on the inventory and conversion of approximately 30,000 street lights and 3,000 traffic and pedestrian signals. This project spanned nine counties and 3,800 square miles. Evari also supported lighting design and installation efforts by collecting contextual roadway data and providing tablets to installers to track progress, respectively.

In addition, Evari developed dashboards to be used by each municipality, and the prime contractor, for project tracking purposes. As a part of this project over 17,000 lights have been converted to LED across 40 different municipalities.

Madras/ Redmond, Oregon

Evari provided a comprehensive street lighting audit, along with lighting design and installation support for the prime contractor, Ameresco. The project involved a field audit of approximately 3000 street lights in the cities of Madras and Redmond Oregon. In addition to the field audit, Evari provided a lighting design app for Ameresco to make fixture selections, and provided tablets to facilitate an LED conversion project in the City of Redmond. As part of this project, over 1000 lights owned by two different utilities (PacifiCorp and CEC) were converted to LED.
