NON-PROFIT SUPPORT

Evari is dedicated to empowering non-profit organizations with cutting-edge GIS solutions as part of its commitment to giving back to the community. By harnessing the power of location-based data, non-profits can enhance their impact, optimize resources, and make more informed decisions. One of Evari’s missions is to support these organizations in driving positive change, providing tailored GIS services that align with their unique goals and challenges, all while contributing to the surrounding communities.

Here are a few amazing non-profit organizations Evari has collaborated with.

As-Needed Pro-Bono Support for San Diego Vision Zero

Evari provided support to Circulate San Diego to further their goals in implementing road traffic safety measures along major corridors in San Diego. Evari identified county assessor’s parcel data, including owners and site addresses, to target initial outreach efforts. In a customized way, parcels were classified by land use to empower Circulate San Diego and to engage property owners, renters and business owners.

Warehouse Suitability Analysis

The San Diego Foodbank sought to conduct a site suitability analysis based on current operations information for long-term expansion of services. Evari identified constituent components of the analysis, including integrating data from multiple partnership non-profits, sanitizing and geocoding of volunteer address data, and donor locations. Ultimately, this yielded information for real estate acquisition to be used by the Foodbank to maximize the effectiveness of a third location. Evari also built a 3D web-based application to present to stakeholders and the public.

Regional Task Force on Homelessness

The RTFH coordinates an annual survey, called the Point-in-Time Count (PITC), in which they enlist and organize the help of countless volunteers to locate homeless individuals across San Diego County. Evari digitized the previous year’s hand collected maps into GIS data to be used by volunteers for the upcoming year’s PITC. GIS provided an effective way to compare year-to-year changes in the homeless populations and helped identify areas where more resources and services need to be dedicated.

Mapping Services for Marketing and Grant-Funded Projects

Evari provided static mapping services to Cal Trout for their marketing campaigns and grant proposals. With each map, Evari focused on creating compelling and visually striking stories that highlighted the impact of their conservation efforts.
